Pan Yaoming, whose pen names are Yanhuo and Ai’huo, is originally from Nan’an city, Fujian province. He is currently chief editor and general manager of Mingpao Monthly, president of Hong Kong Writers as well as president and chief editor of Literature in Chinese.Apart from being an honorary member of National Committee of China Writers Association as well as a member of Consultative Committee of Expert at Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, his titles also include chairman of Hong Kong Writers, International Association of Travel Literature in Chinese along with Hong Kong World Chinese literature and Art Research Association. Moreover, he also serves as executive president of China World Association for Chinese Literatures, member of The University of Iowa’s International Writing Program and member of advisory committee of Malaysian 「Hua Zong Literary Awards」.A total of 25 review and prose writings were published in China’s mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan as well as overseas. Among them, Contemporary Chinese Writers had been one of South Korean Hallym Polytechnic University’s reference books after being translated into Korean. Moreover, several his works were included in textbooks of primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong.
