丘树宏，广东省作家协会副主席，中国作家协会会员，广东省社科院顾问，广东省文化协会专家委员会委员。已出版个人诗集9部，人文社科著作8部。2003年，凭一首抗击非典的大爱诗歌《以生命的名义》由中央电视台和中国作家协会以同名大型节目推出后而走进中国诗坛。曾获《诗刊》诗歌金奖、《人民文学》创作赛金奖、《文艺报》征文金奖、《文学报》征文金奖、《诗选刊》中国最佳诗集奖、《芒种》年度诗人奖、《中国作家》郭沫若诗歌奖、 广东省“五个一”工程奖、广东省鲁迅文学艺术奖、2017年百年新诗全球华语诗歌评奖活动“最具实力诗人奖”；为大型史诗电视剧《辛亥革命》《下南洋》等撰写主题歌。近几年来致力于长诗、史诗和大型舞台节目文学台本创作，主要作品有《30年：变革大交响》《共和国之恋》《珠海，珠海 》《海上丝路》《海上丝路· 香云纱》等。

Qiu Shuhong is vice president of Guangdong Provincial Writers’ Association, a member of China Writers Association. He also serves as consultant at Guangdong Academy of Social Sciences and member at Expert Committee of Guangdong Cultural Association.

His debut in poetry world was a poem named In the name of life featuring struggle against SARS in 2003, which became visible through a program under same name organized by CCTV and the Chinese Writers Association. So far, a total of 9 poetry anthologies and 8 works on humanities and social sciences have been published.

He has been granted with various awards, including Gold Award by Poetry, Gold Award of Literary Creation Competition by People’s Literature, Top Prize for Solicited Articles by Wen yi bao((Literature and Art Newspaper), Top Prize for Solicited Articles by Literature Press, Best Poetry Anthology Award by Journal of Selected Poems, Annual Poet Award by Mangzhong, Guo Moruo Poetry Award by Chinese Writers, the Guangdong "Five Ones" Project Awards and Lu Xun Literature and Art Prize as well as Most Talented poet Award by 2017 Global Chinese Poems Contest. To be noted, his has also demonstrated talent in writing lyrics for grand epic TV series, such as 1911 Revolution and Xia Nan Yang. Moreover, his recent creation efforts mainly focus on poetry possessed long literary piece, epic and playscript of large-scale stage program, for instance, 30 years: A symphony of reforms, Love for the the People’s Republic of China, Zhuhai, Zhuhai, Maritime Silk Road and Maritime Silk Road · Gambiered Guangzhou Gauze.
