徐步，外文出版社社长、总编辑，高级记者，曾任新华社摄影部副主任，人民画报社社长、总编辑。国务院政府津贴享受者、中国新闻摄影学会副主席、中国摄影最高奖金像奖评委、中国地方新闻摄影协会顾问、武汉大学客座教授。

XuBu is the president and editor-in-chief of foreign languages press and a senior journalist. He served as deputy director of the photography department of Xinhua News Agency, and president and editor-in-chief of China Pictorial. Enjoying the State Council Special Allowance, he is Vice President of the China Photojournalists Society. He has been a judge for China Photography Awards, consultant to local photojournalists associations, and guest professor at Wuhan University.
