李庆新，历史学博士，二级研究员。广东省社会科学院历史与孙中山研究所所长，广东海洋史研究中心主任，《海洋史研究》主编，兼任中国史学会理事，中国海外交通史研究会副会长，中国华侨史学会常务理事，“全球史译丛”、《史学理论研究》《海交史研究》《丝绸之路》等丛书、杂志编委，Global History Network（全球史网络）国际指导委员会成员等。主要研究方向为东亚海域交流史、中外关系史、华侨华人史及广东地方史。出版著作《明代海外贸易制度》、《濒海之地——南海贸易与中外关系史研究》、《海上丝绸之路》（中文版、英文版、韩文版）、《东亚海域交流与南中国海洋开发》等。

Director of the History and Sun Yat-sen Institute of the Guangdong Academy of Social Sciences, Director of the Guangdong Ocean History Research Center, Editor-in-Chief of Ocean History Research, Council of the Chinese History Society, Vice President of the China Overseas Transportation History Research Association, Executive Director of the Overseas Chinese History Society of China, Editorial Board Member of the “Global History Translation Series”, Historical Theory Research, Overseas Transportation History Research, Silk Road and etc. Member of the International Advisory Board of Global History Network. His main research interests are history of East Asia Sea exchanges, history of Sino-foreign relations, history of overseas Chinese and local history of Guangdong. Published works including: Overseas Trade System of Ming Dynasty, Coastal land: Research on the South Sea’s Foreign Trade and the History of Sino-Foreign Relations, The Maritime Silk Road(in Chinese, English and Korean), Maritime Exchanges in East Asia and South China Sea Development and etc.
