布隆布拉尼于1979年10月1日出生于柬埔寨马德望，目前居住于奥多棉芷，是奥多棉芷省议会议员。他是柬埔寨高棉作家协会会长，参加过由海外知名作家举办的各类写作研讨会，并曾赴法国、瑞典、越南、老挝、中国和泰国参加国际会议和研讨会。

他曾因诗作接受Prash Sihanuk Raja  奖项（1997），获得2006年Nou Hach文学奖，2012年湄公河文学奖（越南）奖，以及2016年S.E.A. 写作奖（泰国曼谷）。

Proeung Pranit born on 1  October, 1979 in Battabang Province, Cambodia. He currently lives in Oddarmeanchey and working as a member of province council of Oddarmeanchey Provincce. He is a President of Khmer Writers Association. He had joined various workshops on creative writing conducted by well-known authors from overseas and he joined the international conferences/workshops for writers at France, Sweden, Vietnam, Laos, China and Thailand. 

His poems have receipted award from Prash Sihanuk Raja II (1997),  Nou Hach Literature Prize in 2006 and Mekong Literature Award Prize in 2012 (Vietnam) and he got The S.E.A. Write Award, 2016 (Bangkok, Thailand). 

In addition, A Nail (Poems) is published after his well-known works "Too late to cry" was published in 2012 and got Ban Teng Prize on 2017.
